Ryan Sulak

Born and raised in South Florida (yes, he’s a Florida man), Ryan has always been passionate about sitting in chairs and looking at screens.

He was a writer for the CBS Diversity Showcase, and shortly after became a finalist in the NBC Short Film festival - for directing / editing the series:  ‘Couples’.

Realizing all of this in-person filming was pulling him away from his dream of looking at screens, he worked his way up to Senior Video Editor at the award-winning boutique agency, Part IV, where he conceptualized, pitched and edited creative concepts for major movie / tv social ad campaigns.

Then, he took it global. For 3 years he was lead editor of the docu-series ‘Real Time’ - traveling the world editing 200+ episodes for ESPN+ , and directing documentaries for the olympic gold medalists.

Then he was asked to bring his live-action directing experience into the VR game ‘Rec Room’,
which is kind of like looking at a screen, except this time, it’s all around you.
Ryan loved that.
His work garnered hundreds of thousands of views and increased engagement for the popular sandbox game.

Throughout his freelance career he edited ad campaigns, commercials, travel films and documentaries - including a doc about LA’s pop-up food scene, covered by Eater.

In his free time, Ryan travels the world, documenting each journey for his youtube channel.
